Arvind Singh, IAS (Retd.)

Mr. Arvind Singh brings over 35 years of distinguished service in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), where he held senior leadership roles in both the Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra. His career has been defined by policy formulation and execution at national, state, and district levels, with deep expertise in infrastructure (power, energy, and airports), finance, tourism, and agriculture.

As Secretary, Tourism, Government of India, he led the revival of India’s tourism sector in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic, shaping policies and strategies that restored growth and resilience. He has also served as Chairman, Airports Authority of India (AAI)Additional Chief Secretary (Energy), Government of Maharashtra, and Chairman & Managing Director of both the Maharashtra State Power Generation Company and the Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company.

Internationally, Mr. Singh represented India’s Ministry of Finance in Japan as Minister (Economic & Commercial), Embassy of India, Tokyo, strengthening bilateral economic ties.

A graduate of the Delhi School of Economics, Mr. Singh has also undertaken executive training at Harvard University, Duke University, The Graduate Institute (Geneva), and LBSNAA, Mussoorie.

With his policy expertise, global perspective, and proven leadership, Mr. Singh provides invaluable guidance to organizations navigating India’s evolving economic and regulatory landscape.
